Copyleft, copyright and just copy (ing)

Copyright is a set of exclusive rights regulating the use of a particular expression of an idea or information. At its most general, it is literally "the right to copy" an original creation. In most cases, these rights are of limited duration. The symbol for copyright is ©, and in some jurisdictions may alternatively be written as either (c) or (C).

Reproduction and copying that we change we can call REMAKE, but still in Art REMAKES made only talented workers without enough inspiration to create something new! Artist can use information to rebuild their own forms, but not copy it at all and call it their own art!
Or what do you think, can I call my copy (right) an art-work or maybe a masterpiece because I copied Leonardo da Vinci (left)?

If you have a good explination than you can and it will become an art-work conceptual!
But the question is, would it be a master piece because I copied a master?
And do I have the right to do it?
It would not be, or you will have to be such good to make the copy one step more - than it could become a masterpiece but it would stop to exist like a copy, like you said - it could be a remake or inspirated by...
