This painting (pastel media) 100 x 80 cm I finished yesterday...

On the left side you can see a "night" darker version of the same work. It is strange how light can change the work, the ambience - it is a little bit like music, deep tones makes a mode of battle f.e. but high, small "cwyques" tones gives you some feminin emotions f.e...

Also the media play it role - the same work made with dry ink, pastel, oil or something else is like the same piece played with a piano, guitar or a violine...

I will call this work "muzika" (bosnian word for music, but I thing you get it also without my translations - hehehe)

Hi to everyone,
I finally found out how to make categories (here on Blogspot called Labels), so I did it. If you take a look on the right side in the sidebar over the "Blog Archive" you can see it, so if you like to look only on one subject (very practic) :) hehehe

And I have to say that I am sorry already because some posts are listed under different categories, so like some sulptures, you will find also under artist_himself or installation and on privet - this means that I have decided that this sculpture and whole the post are not just the photo of a sculpture, but also some private text in it and the sulpture can, should, would or were used like an installation.

Retrospektiva - we have come a long way, baby

we are not the one to blame...

Bronze, iron, metal, kaolin, stone and much more…but all the materials are there to be used!

Than during the academy of fine arts, like the most people there - I came, I saw and I passed trough in the end ☺ and finished the academy in December 2006, or was it 2005…

hmm not really, it was 2006.

Here are some photos of some works. If I ever finish my website than much more old works will be there, and this here are only the sculptures…

1997 - 1998

When ideas and realizations comes together we an speak about art! Is the realization better than the ideas we speak about taste, but the whole art-world lies in the eyes of the spectators.

During the last 19 months I discovered what we could do or not do with our blogs. I manage it to transfer my blog from a private diary about whatever a Dzenan is doing to a work diary about Art.

…but probably it wouldn’t hurt to take you in the past to show you how does it all starts… maybe not at the very beginning but let us have a trip at my first work that looks like something… The year is 1998-99, my works in kaolin…Today they don’t exist any more, but this was the destiny of many works I did in the past.


Some in the other hand are still alive!

And during the whole years I have realized that we have a long way together…

my only conceptual art-work

Conceptual art is art in which the concept(s) or idea(s) involved in the work take precedence over traditional aesthetic and material concerns...

The French artist Marcel Duchamp paved the way for the conceptualists, providing them with examples of prototypically conceptual works -- the readymades, for instance (for example).

Conceptual art emerged as a movement during the 1960s. In part, it was a reaction against formalism as it was then articulated by the influential New York art critic Clement Greenberg. ...so the letter made it - Avignon - Tokyo - Sarajevo - Tokyo and again back to Avignon; but there were nobody any more so the work get s a little souvenir like you can see on the photo below (COURRIER REEXPEDIE), finally I get the letter back and now it is on his next journey with more informations in it to Germany... (see the photo below) -


...hmm hope it will reach his goal, if so than it will travel a little bit around Germany before it continues if "survivre" (hehehe) his way around the world - next land is Sweeden I guess.
